We didn't enter awards as a marketing strategy ā we built the brand we wanted, and the recognition followed. A short note on what that means.
01Built around standards, not noise.
Emerald started with a simple frustration: the supplement category rewards loudness. Bright packaging, hero-ingredient hype, undisclosed doses. We wanted the opposite ā published doses, every ingredient named, calm packaging, slow brand-building. The recognition that's followed reflects that posture, not a marketing programme.
02What the awards measure.
The Prestige Awards judged Best New Supplement Company on formulation rigour, brand thinking, customer experience, and standards of practice. The UK Start-Up Awards shortlisted us on growth, vision, and category contribution. The product awards (Nourish, Vegan Product Choice, Beauty Shortlist, Get the Gloss) measured the formula itself ā taste, transparency, ingredient quality.
03What's next.
Recognition is a useful checkpoint, not the destination. We're building a long-horizon daily-system brand ā Foundation, Output, and the rituals that pair with them. The work continues.
