Blended and packed in the UK by our manufacturing partner, at a site certified to the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 9, at Grade AA — the highest grade available under the announced audit programme. Certificate 223016, issued by Kiwa Agri Food (UKAS-accredited), valid to 15 June 2027.
BRCGS is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative. Manufacturing practice, hygiene, traceability and corrective action are all requirements of the standard and are audited within it. Emerald does not hold, and does not claim, a separate GMP or ISO certification.
The finished blend is tested by UKAS-accredited laboratories independent of Emerald — Campden BRI (lab 1079) for heavy metals, SGS UK (lab 1549) for microbiology.

Each raw material is screened and batch-tested on intake by our manufacturing partner, under its BRCGS-certified quality system, before it is released into the blend — identity, purity, and, for the standardised bio-actives, potency against specification. Out-of-spec material is rejected and quarantined under the site's certified non-conformance procedure.
This is what allows us to publish a dose beside every one of the 60 ingredients, rather than hide behind a proprietary blend.
Once blended, the batch goes to UKAS-accredited laboratories that are independent of Emerald Nutrition — heavy metals by Campden BRI (UKAS lab 1079), microbiology by SGS United Kingdom (UKAS lab 1549). We publish the results in full.
Latest results — Pineapple pouch batch 01500186 (bulk blend 30500201) and Mango batch 28500580: PASS on every parameter tested. Across both flavours: lead at or below 5% of the specification limit, arsenic at or below 36%. Salmonella and Listeria not detected in 25 g.
Pineapple is tested as a bulk blend and then packed into pouches, so the code on the laboratory report and the code on your pouch are two different numbers for the same material. Mango was tested against the finished batch code, so a single number applies. The report explains both.
We don't run proprietary blends. Every ingredient and every dose is named on the back — including the standardised bio-active levels most brands leave out. No hidden amounts. No "trade-secret" stand-ins.
Two gates, two jobs: raw materials are screened and batch-tested on intake, and the finished blend is independently re-tested for heavy metals and microbiological safety. The published report covers the second. To be plain about what those panels prove: they are not a quantitative potency assay of all 60 ingredients, and we won't tell you we have assayed every active when we have not. Potency is verified at intake, on the standardised bio-actives.
